Education and Support for Cancer Patients
Central Baptist's Cancer Care Center offers a variety of educational programs and support groups for patients and families, including:
- The Cancer Resource Library:
Located in the Cancer Care Center on the seventh floor of the 1720 Building, the Cancer Resource Library offers resources, information and support that help patients and their families understand, cope and survive cancer.
This is an interactive patient education computer that offers information about cancer and its treatment.
- Focus on Healing Through Movement and Exercise:
This is a therapeutic exercise program for women who have had any kind of breast surgery, node dissection, radiation, chemotherapy or who suffer from chronic fatigue.
- Look Good, Feel Better.
This is a program to help women look their best during and after cancer treatment.
