12-Lead EKG



Objectives:

At the conclusion of this class, the participant should be able to:

  • Describe proper lead placement of EKG leads.
  • Identify four (4) sources of artifact.
  • Identify the components of a 12-Lead EKG.
  • Recognize ST segment elevation in two (2) contiguous leads.
  • Recognize and localize EKG pattern for AMI and correlate EKG lead data with associated coronary artery.
  • Describe the typical distribution of coronary arteries.

 

Target Audience: RN, LPN, ARNP, PA-C, RT, Paramedic CBH employees.

Prerequisites: Pre-registration is required.
