For the second consecutive year, Central Baptist Hospital has been named one of the top 100 heart hospitals in the United States, and the only one in Kentucky.

The annual Solucient award objectively measures performance on key criteria at the nation’s top performing heart hospitals. The fifth annual study used publicly available data, statistically adjusted for variations in care, illness levels and costs, to track performance in key cardiology areas.

The 2003 Solucient 100 Top Hospitals®: Cardiovascular Benchmarks for Success study appeared in the Oct. 27 issue of Modern Healthcare magazine. Solucient provides comprehensive healthcare information to drive business growth, manage costs and help deliver quality care for providers, payers, employers and pharmaceutical companies.
