Central Baptist Hospital will present “A Christmas Celebration with Sandi Patty,” one of the most highly acclaimed Christian music singers of our time, on Thursday, Dec. 2, at Immanuel Baptist Church.

A 2004 Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, Patty has won 39 Dove Awards, five Grammy Awards and four Billboard Music Awards, making her the most awarded female vocalist in contemporary Christian music history. Her albums have sold more than 11 million units, including three platinum and five gold recordings.

Her new recording, Hymns of Faith…Songs of Inspiration, is set to be released on Sept. 14. The special double CD set features Patty’s signature vocals and backing by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tickets are $25 for general admission, or $100 for priority seating, which also includes a complimentary CD and an opportunity to meet Sandi Patty. Proceeds from the concert benefit the Central Baptist Hospital Foundation, which helps fund services and technology at the non-profit Lexington hospital.
