The Central Baptist Diagnostic Center, located at the corner of Nicholasville Road and Southland Drive, is one of the first fully filmless outpatient imaging centers in the area. The Diagnostic Center features leading-edge technology that allows physicians to read images almost immediately. "The diagnostic machines are equipped with receptors, so we don’t even have cassettes," said Bill Broaddus, director of radiology. "Images go directly to the computer, and the tech never has to leave the patient’s side."

The Diagnostic Center offers X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and PET/CT. "I think it’s important for us to have a visible off-campus location on Nicholasville Road that’s convenient for our patients," Broaddus said. "Patients will like having convenient registration, quick personal attention and results that get back to the doctor in a very timely manner," Broaddus said.
