Central Baptist Hospital has been named the winner of the Kentucky Psychological Association’s 2007 Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award in the large not-for-profit category.

Applicants for the award are evaluated on their efforts concerning employee involvement, work-life balance, employee growth and development, health and safety and employee recognition. CBH employees were surveyed on these topics, and KPA conducted an on-site assessment.

In addition to winning the state level honors, CBH is now eligible for the national Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award, which will be presented by the American Psychological Association in the spring of 2008.
