Galactography-Ductography

With galactography, the breast radiologist uses X-ray to examine the inside offemale silhouette the breast milk ducts. A contrast material is added to obtain pictures or galactograms.

The most common use for galactography is to evaluate a woman who has a bloody or clear discharge from her breast nipple as one component of the diagnostic work-up.
