• Acute care for stroke patients in our critical care unit
• Diagnostic tests such at CT scanning to quickly determine if a patient is experiencing a stroke, as well as vascular studies to help doctors locate atherosclerotic blockages and aneurysms in the vascular system
• Surgical treatment for the prevention of strokes, including carotid endarterectomy as well as minimally-invasive procedures to treat blockages in the carotid arteries and surgery to repair brain aneurysms
• Rehabilitation services such as physical and occupational therapy to help stroke patients regain lost skills and independence
• Speech pathology services to help stroke patients overcome difficulties with swallowing and communications
• Home health care to provide rehabilitation services and continuing care to homebound stroke patients in an 11-county area
