Committed: Sixteen years ago, Central Baptist Hospital made a commitment to provide a wide variety of educational offerings and self-management skills to people with diabetes through a program we call "Life with Diabetes." Our commitment remains as strong as ever.
Comprehensive: We offer the comprehensive scope of specialties recommended by the American Diabetes Association. Our multidisciplinary team of experts includes certified diabetes educators, registered nurses, registered dietitians, pharmacists, physical therapists and a stress counselor. Our gestational diabetes program supports women during and after their pregnancies.
Convenient: We make it convenient for people with diabetes to gain skills and knowledge about their disease, offering group and individual classes at various times and, with a physician’s referral, in outpatient, inpatient and home health settings. We offer morning, afternoon and evening class opportunities.
