The Cancer Care Center includes a dedicated medical oncology unit offering patient centered care and special facilities to meet the individual needs of our patients.

Patient-Centered Care

Just as every case of cancer is different, every patient fighting cancer is different, with very personal needs. That's why cancer care at Central Baptist Hospital is focused on the patient and his or her individual needs, not just on the disease.

Patient centered care is only one of the ways Central Baptist is helping improve the quality of life for cancer patients. We take a team approach to cancer care with the patient at the center of the team. Each patient has a familiar and consistent team of caregivers, directly involved in his or her care.

Special Facilities

Our medical oncology unit features all private rooms, a family room to encourage networking and fellowship among patients and families, a resource center for care planning, and offices for the oncology social worker and chaplain.
