Lifeline undergoes name change.

As the marketplace changes, Central Baptist Hospital’s Lifeline program is undergoing a name change.  Beginning September 1 the program will be called Central Baptist Hospital Home Response Service and will continue to feature Lifeline monitoring.

The name change will occur to highlight Central Baptist Hospital’s community service role as the only not-for-profit home emergency response service.  Currently there are nearly 900 program participants.

For over 20 years, Central Baptist Hospital and its auxiliary have offered Lifeline as a community service with a record of reliability.  Volunteers have purchased over 1,000 Lifeline home monitoring units and perform fieldwork installing and servicing equipment in patients’ homes.  Because of the volunteer involvement, no one tries to sell patients and their families additional services or contracts.

The telephone contact numbers for CBH Home Response Service will remain the same:  260-6217 or 800-891-7475.
