The 2004 Children’s Charity Classic raised a record $700,000 for many central Kentucky children's charities.

Held in June, Central Baptist again partnered with Children’s Charity Fund of the Bluegrass to present the event at the Greenbrier Golf and Country Club.

Proceeds have doubled since 2001. The charity fund raised $600,000 in 2003. Of that, $400,000 was awarded through grants to 27 children's charities.

Recipients include Children's Development Center of the Bluegrass, the Ronald McDonald House and Big Brother/Big Sisters.
