From the first day I began as a chaplain at Central Baptist Hospital, I have been amazed. I am amazed by the number of compliments from patients and family members who remark about the excellence of care they receive physically, emotionally and spiritually. I am awed by the team effort I witness on a daily basis between different disciplines. I am filled with warmth as I watch colleagues taking care of one another in this "family". Central Baptist holds near and dear to it's heart the goal of "going beyond the call of duty" as it assists our patients and families on their journey through life...from birth to death, through joys and sorrows. During my short tenure here, I have seen time and time again the family of Central Baptist rise to the challenge of the 21st century healthcare, and succeed with humanity, dignity and compassion.

I was hired immediately after graduating the Radiology program, and have now been an employee here for three years. The people here were very friendly and were willing to teach me the skills I had not yet perfected as a student. We have an excellent staff of dedicated technologists, supervisors, and radiologists. We are now a filmless hospital and the technology of the radiology department is always increasing. Central Baptist is a fairly large hospital, but they make you feel important as an individual. The benefits are great and they are always reminding us how important the role we play is to the hospital as a whole. I would recommend this hospital to any of my friends and family, I feel the staff here is superb.
