For the past 29 years I have worked in one capacity or another (nursing assistant, orderly and now physician) in hospitals and clinics around the country. During the past 8 of my 20 years as a physician, I have been associated with Central Baptist Hospital. This hospital lives out its values of hospitality, stewardship, partnership and excellence through its volunteer, nursing, administrative, pharmacy, physician and other healthcare staff. The support staff for the grounds and facilities showcase their excellence in visible and behind the scene ways that make this a physically comfortable place for patients, families and the employees.

The nurses of Central Baptist Hospital strive each day to deliver quality care to patients and families. Relationships are valued. Our nurses know that it is a privilege to share in celebrations such as childbirth. They know that they are the first ( and sometimes last) to deliver care through touch. Their skills, kind words, encouragement, and selflessness bring a face to the delivery of compassion and healing. They are experts in bringing hope to the hurting and frightened patient and his or her friends and family.

At Central Baptist Hospital we work together as a team to deliver the best health care in this region. Our patients are not our clients, customers or consumers. Our patients are people that we love to care for. I am proud to be a physician here.
