Central Baptist Hospital To Bring Physicians, Outpatient Services to Richmond
(LEXINGTON, Ky.) – Central Baptist Hospital took a step toward making its quality medical services more accessible and convenient to Madison Countians by breaking ground on a facility that will house a primary-care physicians practice, outpatient diagnostic services, multi-specialty clinic space and more.
Central Baptist Medical Plaza at Heritage Place, a two-level, 20,000 square-foot facility, will be located off Barnes Mill Road across from the Richmond Centre shopping development. The facility will be home to a primary-care physicians practice and also will offer cardiac physician services. The building will also contain multi-specialty clinic space for other Central Baptist Hospital-affiliated physicians interested in expanding their practices to Richmond.
“We are pleased to have served a large number of Madison County residents at our hospital over the course of our 55-year history, and now we’re reaching out to bring our services closer to the people who have been so loyal to us over the years,” said Central Baptist Hospital President & CEO William G. Sisson. “We recognize the need to have quality healthcare services near where you live and work, and these physicians will be backed by the full range of healthcare services the people of Richmond and Madison County have come to expect from Central Baptist Hospital.”
Local residents also will have access to outpatient diagnostic imaging services such as CT scans, ultrasound, X-ray, and all-digital screening mammograms at the new facility.
“We look forward to building even stronger relationships with the people of Madison County and surrounding counties and to contributing to the local economy,” said Sisson.
K&L Developers, LLC of Richmond is the developer of the Central Baptist Medical Plaza at Heritage Place, and Thomas Lett of Lexington is the architect.
