CBH Participation in New Managed Medicaid Program

Central Baptist Hospital is participating with all three of the new managed Medicaid companies. This includes Baptist Physicians Lexington, Baptist Urgent Care, Baptist Express Cares at Walmart, CBH Home Infusion, Home Health and Perinatology.

The Kentucky Medicaid program initiated a new approach on November 1, 2011, assigning most members to one of three different companies for the management of their benefits -- Kentucky Spirit, CoventryCares and WellCare.  Because of the size of the project and the vast numbers of providers, current provider directories are incomplete.  However, even if not listed, Central Baptist is participating with all three companies.

Central Baptist encourages Medicaid users to contact their assigned company for physician participants because many participating physicians are also awaiting inclusion in online and printed directories.
