Baptist Health Lexington Unveils Mobile Baby Name Generator
Ever wondered how Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin came up with the name Apple for their daughter? Do you marvel at the names of musician Frank Zappa’s kids: Moon Unit, Dweezil, Ahmet and Diva Muffin? Will the youngest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore ever forgive her parents for naming her Tallulah Belle?
Parents-to-be struggling to find a name suitable for their next generation can get help from the new Baptist Health Lexington Baby Names mobile application. The mobile app is accessible by scanning the hospital’s first Quick Response Code or by using the URL, www.cbhbabynames.com. Facebook users can create virtual “baby blankets” with various combinations of baby names. The blankets can be pinned on Pinterest, tweeted about on Twitter or can become the subject of a Facebook poll so that followers can rank their favorite names.
Some of the name categories users may choose from are top baby names, biblical, athletes, food, artists, comedians, country music stars, Disney, sci-fi and social media influences and tech stars. Those looking for a moniker to rival actress Rachel Griffiths’ choice of Banjo for her son may want to check out the celebrity baby names category.
The mobile app also will allow users to access the many childbirth education classes offered by Baptist Health Lexington, sign up for free health info and event information from the area’s only Spirit of Women program, and get connected to other Baptist Health Lexington social media offerings.
This new tool joins Baptist Health Lexington’s many maternity amenities including ConnectMe flat-screen computers in each pre- and post-birth room, free massages for moms, a special More Miracles menu, breast-feeding consultations and care from Magnet®-designated nurses recognized for their excellence. These and many other reasons are why Baptist Health Lexington is known as the premier place to have a baby.
