Baptist Express Care Clinic Opens in Hamburg Walmart

Central Baptist Hospital has opened Baptist Express Care, a basic healthcare services clinic at the Lexington Walmart at Hamburg.

Located at the front of the store, the clinic will provide fast, affordable access to basic healthcare services such as check-ups, immunizations, screenings and treatment of minor injuries, Patients will know upfront the costs of the services they request.

The clinic is the first of several to be opened by Baptist Healthcare System in Walmart stores throughout Kentucky in 2009 and throughout 2010.

While the clinic is designed to provide only basic healthcare services, patients will be connected to a continuum of care, with access to Central Baptist Hospital’s convenient outpatient care centers for diagnostic needs, its primary care network of physicians for every member of the family and to the hospital itself when emergency or specialized care is needed.

Clinic hours are 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday – Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday. To learn more, call 859-263-3822.
