As part of our comprehensive women's health program, Baptist Health Lexington is recognized as a leader in breast care, performing approximately 40,000 procedures each year and providing cutting-edge services in breast imaging.
Baptist Health Breast Imaging includes digital screening and diagnostic mammograms, ultrasound, ultrasound-guided needle biopsy, stereotactic breast biopsy, cyst aspiration, breast MRI, breast MRI-guided biopsy. We strive to offer our patients outstanding quality care using the latest technology including all-digital Siemens breast mammography units at all of our six locations.

Our team of breast radiologists —Medical Director Angela Moore, MD; Sandra Bates, MD; Molly Hester, MD; Francie Masters, MD; and Tamara Patsey, MD — are dedicated to providing high quality breast imaging services in a timely fashion to give you a diagnosis.
Fast Results
We understand that waiting for mammography results can be stressful. Annual screening mammograms are interpreted within 24 hours, so you receive your results quickly. We are proud to offer same-day results on diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds. Our radiologists will interpret your breast diagnostic studies at the time of your appointment.

To schedule a mammogram at any of our locations, please call (859) 260-6050 or toll-free 877-360-6050. Bone density tests are performed at our Beaumont location, require a physician order, and may be scheduled by calling the same phone numbers.
After you've made an appointment, use our simple and convenient online registration service to pre-register for a mammogram or a bone density test. Please register at least 24 hours before your procedure.
Baptist Health Lexington is accredited by the Joint Commission and is recognized as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.
Baptist Health Lexington is the first hospital in Lexington and the only community hospital in Kentucky to be accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. The accreditation means that Baptist Health Lexington complies with 27 standards for treating women diagnosed with the full spectrum of malignant and benign breast disease.
