VolunTeen Program

The VolunTeen Program at Baptist Health Lexington is a summer youth program for students. The purpose of this program is to acquaint teens with various roles in a hospital environment. To participate, students must be 14-18 years old. All volunteers at Baptist Health Lexington are a part of the hospital's auxiliary.  

The VolunTeen online application period is from March 15 through April 28th, or until our capacity is reached.

Each VolunTeen is assigned to work in one of several hospital areas including Nursing Units, Materials Management, Outpatient Surgery, Marketing, the Child Development Center, Cardiovascular Observation Unit, Human Resources, Library, Preadmission Testing, Risk Management and Transport.
