At Baptist Health Lexington, we're known for our community education programs. We offer resources to help patients and families find answers to healthcare questions and to promote healthy lifestyles.
Community Education:
- Freedom from SmokingĀ®, a program designed to help you kick the habit.
- GirlwoRx is a summertime session for girls 12-14. Get skills, get fit, get moving! Summer sessions run June 24-June 28 and July 29 - August 2.
- Nutrition Counseling to help you develop an eating plan that will fit your food preferences, resources and schedule.
- Pediatric CPR is for parents, babysitters, childcare workers and others who want to learn CPR techniques for children.
- Safe Sitter is a medically accurate program to prepare children ages 11 to 13 for babysitting.
Childbirth and Parenting Education:
- Art of Breastfeeding helps prepare expectant moms for the breastfeeding experience.
- Comfort Measures for Childbirth offers parents-to-be breathing, relaxation, comfort and support methods.

- Great Expectations gives you a general overview of having your baby at Baptist Health Lexington.
- Laboring the Natural Way is a series for those who wish to explore the option of a non-medicated birth experience.

- Marvelous Multiples is designed to help prepare you for the challenge of having more than one baby!
- New Brother/New Sister helps your child feel "special" and an important part of the childbirth event.

- Prenatal Yoga & Happy Baby Yoga Prenatal yoga is a yoga class specially modified for women in any stage of pregnancy. After your baby is born, continue on and bring your baby to happy baby Yoga!

Cancer Education:
- Journey to Empowerment, a cancer series offering tools and encouragement you need to live life to the fullest.
- Breast Health by Women, a program designed to promote early detection of breast cancer in its most treatable stages.
- Cancer Resource Library, providing information and resources for cancer patients and their families.
- Focus on Healing Through Movement and Exercise is a therapeutic exercise program for women who have had any kind of breast surgery, node dissection, radiation, chemotherapy or who suffer from chronic fatigue.
