Rehab Services Department
The Rehab Services department provides physical and occupational therapy to inpatients and outpatients of all ages (neonate through geriatric).
Services include:

treatment planning

therapeutic exercise (ROM, strengthening, balance, coordination, etc)

gait training
-
manual therapy (STM, lymphedema massage, etc)

modalities
-
self care/ADL training/re-training
-
sensory-integrative strategies
-
patient/family education
-
adaptive/assistive equipment training
A wide variety of diagnoses are treated:
-
musculoskeletal
-
neurologic
-
orthopedic
-
pediatric
-
wounds/burns
-
dysphagia
-
lymphedema
We work closely with nurses, physicians and other ancillary services as part of the multidisciplinary team.
The Rehab Services department is made up of 9 Physical Therapists, 3 Physical Therapist assistants, 4 Occupational Therapists, 9 Rehab Services Technicians and support staff, Monday through Friday. Inpatient services are provided 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Outpatient services are provided Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
