Giving Something Back to Our Community
As a not-for-profit hospital, Central Baptist provides care and services that go beyond the walls of the hospital. Our philosophy is to give the community back some of the gifts that have been given to us. Several of our community outreach efforts include:
- Education in a Box
Educational programs for school-age children - Health Talk
Our free speakers bureau - Support groups
For adoption, arthritis, cancer, hepatitis, infertility, new moms, scleroderma, Tourette Syndrome, parents who experienced a miscarriage or stillbirth, and women who have lost their mothers - Classes
To help people stay well, prepare them for childbirth and parenting and teach them about cancer, diabetes and heart disease; - Midsummer Night's Run
Our annual event and one of the largest fitness events in Kentucky - Cosponsoring Healthy Kids Centers at four local schools to provide uninsured students with medical, dental and mental healthcare
- Central Baptist Hospital Home Response Service featuring Lifeline program
An emergency alert system for elderly and disabled adults who live alone.
