Baptist Health Lexington Recognized for Workplace Flexibility

2009 - Baptist Health Lexington has been selected as a winner of the 2009 Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility in Kentucky.

This prestigious award recognizes employers that are successfully using workplace flexibility to meet both employer and employee goals. Employer responses in the scoring process were measured against national data from Families and Work Institute’s National Study of Employers. Employer responses were then corroborated by employees

As a winner, Baptist Health Lexington ranks in the top 20 percent – the 80th percentile – of employers nationally in terms of flexible work programs, policies and culture. The award is presented by the Institute for Workplace Innovation and the When Work Works national partners – Families and Work Institute, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for a Competitive Workforce and the Twiga Foundation.
